Lot Of (100) PARTIAL Fossilized Shark Teeth From Venice Florida. Condition is New. Shipped with First Class Package. These are genuine fossilized shark teeth from ( The Shark Tooth Capital Of The  World ) Venice Florida. These shark teeth were found at inland dig sites from depths up to 30 feet below the surface and as far away as 5 miles from the beach & also from the Gulf of Mexico in Venice Florida and are from when Florida was completely covered by water millions of years ago. The dig site teeth are more defined and are usually black and or gray, the Gulf of Mexico teeth are more rounded and have a polished look and are black, brown and or gray. Combined they look awesome and are great in displays, fish tanks or any other application, and yes ( KIDS LOVE EM ) .<br>These shark teeth are from many species of sharks such as Bull, Hammerhead, Lemon, Sand Tiger and many other species and have some great color combinations. Shark teeth get their colors depending on what type of sediment they were in back then, this process happens when the tooth absorbs the minerals in the sediment which eventually replaces the Dentin and Enamel that make up the tooth creating some awesome color combinations. Some teeth still have Matrix attached which is a mass of fine grained rock in which fossils are embedded. These PARTIAL teeth are between 1/8 - 1 1/4 inches.
